Ministry of Protocol

What is the Ministry of Protocol?

Known as the Prince of Protocol, Bishop Eric D. Garnes has created the Ministry of Protocol Teaching Symposium as an educational vehicle for the body of Christ. Birthed out of his passion to maintain order within the church, the Ministry of Protocol was designed to equip men and women in ministry with the tools necessary to mature them as servant leaders and progress their local churches.

The Ministry of Protocol was developed with the main purpose of providing a greater understanding of the governmental authority, structure and order within a successful church while teaching leaders how to operate in it.

M.O.P. focuses on the fundamentals of ministry service, and the course provides a comprehensive guide on how to progress one’s church and self in the various areas of protocol. The curriculum offers delineations and synergies of the office of Adjutant and Armor Bearer; Assistantship – walking versus stationary; and the dynamics of Episcopal and Pastoral administration. Through the Ministry of Protocol teachings, we explore the characteristics, expectations and pitfalls of these positions and present the tools necessary to succeed in these respective posts.

The Ministry of Protocol seeks to enhance or build spiritual excellence in servant leaders, and in return these leaders will use this excellence to improve their local assemblies. Ministries will function as a whole, creating powerful and dynamic churches in this 21st century.
