If we all had our way, our lives would be free from pain, stress and a laundry list of the uncomfortable factors that find its way into our existence.  For some reason or another, we feel that our Christian walk should be one without turmoil, crisis and confusion.

It is erroneous thinking at best to adopt a mindset that says in our walk we will not or should not face any storms.  The fact that God gives us a myriad of promises to deliver us from our troubles indicates that we would not be strangers to unpleasant seasons, but we in fact need to embrace them.  For in the storms of life our blessings are contained – they bring out the real you and God has a way of birthing new things in us during these critical moments.

The problems and issues that envelop us are significant in that they connect us to God; you remove the problem, and the power of connection to God is then eradicated.  The presence of the storms in our lives, forces us to seek God and connect with Him through our prayers, faith and trust to give our situations favorable outcomes.  Remove the storms and we remove our dependency on God, thus relying on our might alone to get us through.

When you have knowledge of God and understand His agape love for us as His children, you know that every storm in our life is present for a reason.  God wants to prune and develop us and can only do so by allowing these storm clouds to be present.

God reveals our dreams but never reveals the journey to our destiny – He does this so that we can trust solely in Him and Him alone.

The storms may be blowing you off course but it is taking you on course to your destiny!  So trust in your storm, because it is pregnant with destiny, blessings and purpose!
